Simple Wheat Pudding

  • Wheat Flour - 25 grams
  • Wheat Flour - 25 grams
  • Apple - 1 medium sized apple
  • Dates - 2-3
  • Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Water - 50 ml.



1. Maintain hygiene by Sterilizing the bowls and spoons that you use for feeding your baby.


1. Soak dates in hot water for 5 minutes. Peel the apple and cut them into cubes.

2. Take apple and dates in a blender and make puree.

3. Take some ghee in a pan and add wheat flour to it. Roast it in low flame for 5 minutes until nice aroma comes. Take care to not to burn the wheat flour.

4. Now add water to it. Mix it well so that no lumps are formed. Cook the wheat in low medium flame for 5 minutes or until the wheat gets cooked completely and becomes shiny. Stir it continuously while cooking otherwise it may stick to the vessel. Once its cooked add apple dates puree to it.

5. Now cook it further for 2-3 more minutes with continuous stirring. It becomes thicker once it cools down. So make consistency as you like.

6. Do not add sugar to this as we have added dates to it. It'll give sweet taste to halwa.
